The pioneering efforts made by Mr. M.D. Shah in manufacturing the Soft Flow Dyeing Machine and the proven results of the same in terms of huge savings in Energy as well as in minimizing Effluent Problems have been recognized by the Govt. of India and Mr. M.D. Shah has been presented National Award twice by the Hon'ble President of India Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma, first time in June '95 and again in July '97. Mr. M.D. Shah has also been selected for the Fellowship of the Textile Institute, Manchester, (U. K.)

M/s. Krsna Engineering Works is managed by Mr. Mahesh D. Shah, a young enterprising technocrat who received the National Award, on 26 October 1995, by the Small Industries Development Organization, New Delhi. The Award was presented to M. D. Shah by the Hon’ble President of India, Shri Shanker Dayal Sharma in a glittering function held at New Delhi. The award was given to the company for its innovative range of machineries, especially Energy saving environment friendly atmospheric dyeing machine for hosiery fabric/terry towel. This Novel Machine developed by the company is an import substitute & it gives a lot of saving in terms Water, Energy, as well as Dyes and Chemicals. Shri Maheshbhai D. Shah thus got the National Award as an outstanding small scale entrepreneur for his company’s efforts in successfully developing the novel processing machinery for the hosiery industry.
